Travel in Style

Maybe not all that practical. I would probably leave the house with a massive amount of anxiety on whether or not I may scuff my bag that day. They're incredibly expensive, just like a pair of luxury shoes, but man do these bags look sexy.

John Lobb

Above: Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales and John Lobb

The Holy Grail of fine crafted shoes. John Lobb, est. 1849, is known for creating many classic shoe designs and have been worn by Presidents, Famous novelists, Royalty and classic icons such as Frank Sinatra. John Lobb's Oxfords and Al Bazar's Double Monk Straps are the two shoe pairs I lust for most in this world.

A Pair of these Casual boat shoes, sock-less in the summer.

Oxfords

Love the Alligator leather.

Duffle Coat Purchase

I just bought a sweet Tommy Hilfiger Duffle Coat and a burberry print scarf. Way too cool for school.

p.s.: I hate taking pictures of myself in the mirror.

Swagger like this...

I was looking for images of Duffle Coats on google when I ran across this picture of Hudson shoes. They're extremely classic looking and would never go out of style. I love the leather laces and detail of the bike design on the sole. Shoe design is the "Hudson Hillman Calf Taupe"

Duffle Coats

Originally worn by the British Royal Navy in WWI. Referred to as a "convoy coat". The word Duffle originally referred to a Heavy Woollen Cloth closely woven for warmth and manufactured in the Belgian Town of Duffel.

Gloverall claims to have created the first duffle coat.

The Classic Gloverall Coat. On my to buy list.

Tommy Hilfiger also makes a beautiful duffle coat.

Hermes

I had a wonderful experience with the customer service of Hermes recently. I emailed asking for a sample of a unisex fragrance called "Ambre Narguile". They ended up sending me two large samples of it, as well as two more large samples of a frag called "Paprika Brasil", and a spritzer of "Voyage d'Hermes".

If you want to win points with me,... make me food or give me free stuff.

"Ambre Narguile" is one of the best smelling fragrances I own. It reminds me of the holiday seasons and baked goods. This frag is very sweet, warm and inviting. I picture sitting next to a fire place drinking some apple cider, bundled up in sweaters, talking to friends and family while mom bakes cookies. I'm not quite sure what the notes are in it but I do get a warm apple on the top of the frag. Longevity is amazing with this one as well. 10/10 for me.

Hermes also has a great variety of accessories. I would love to own one of their famous scarves.

Pure Malt. Back in Business.

Gentlemen. I understand if you've never owned a good bottle of cologne, it takes time to develop a taste in fragrances. My first bottle, along with your sisters boyfriends, and your best friends, was non other than Aqua Di Gio.

I bought it because it was the best smelling to me at the time, and the sales woman also loved the it. I swear to God it must be in those peoples job descriptions to understand the inns and outs of this fragrance. It's that popular. Anyways, two days later and a little bit of research had me wishing I never bought it. I started smelling it all over the gym, work, and church. This thing takes first place easy on the top selling frag list. It's the preschool of colognes, next step up from Axe body crap (Axe is disgusting, if you wear it, be a man and stop). I ended up selling the Aqua Di Gio for $20 less than I paid for. I like being different, don't get me wrong, it's a great cologne, just over done... to the fullest extent.

Let me introduce,... if you haven't been already... to one of the most wonderfully underrated fragrances I have ever smelt. Theirry Mugler's A*Men Pure Malt.

This frag is not at all underrated online, but with the general public. If you want something that will grant you wishes when you rub the bottle... look no further.

I now hand it off to my home boy's (please don't be offended) JR and Brandon.

JR with some fabulous news:

You gotta enjoy the little things.

As I continue this journey called "Life", I find myself growing into the inevitable stress ball that so many of my family has fallen victim too. What the heck am I doing on this planet? I'm 19 and understand that this most probably is the same question asked by the majority of my peers, and whether the answer comes with age or not is over my head... because grasping things over my head also comes with age... I think.

Being content isn't an option. Graduating High School felt so freeing, until the the next week my parents started pressuring me with "Life goals", and asked all these questions that needed answers. My parents became part of my being, their wants became my wants. On top of that I already have high standards for myself. Life started to get hard, and I don't think I even know what "hard" means yet... or at least that's what my parent's tell me.

Your probably staring at a picture of shoes wondering what they're there for. Simple, I like the darn shoes. So far in my journey I have come across few things that really make me happy, and those shoes are one of them. Whatever the answer to life is, until then I will have to enjoy the little things, like my lovely nerve damaged family, or pictures of europe, or imported wine, or,... simple shoes.

I forgot to mention they cost $1,129.00.
